About Postmapia

Postmapia puts post offices, parcel shops and lockers from every carrier on one map, so you can find the nearest one that is open, without clutter and with guides written for each language rather than translated.

01Where the data comes from

Locations come from OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps, government open data and the branch finders carriers publish on their own websites; place names and postcodes come from GeoNames. Every source and licence is listed on the data sources page.

We rebuild the database regularly, and each point’s page shows where its record comes from and when it was last edited.

02Found a mistake?

Use the “Wrong info?” link on the point’s page: it opens an e-mail to us with the page address in the subject. Records from OpenStreetMap can also be corrected there directly, and the fix reaches Postmapia with the next update.

03Independence

Postmapia is not affiliated with any postal operator or carrier and does not show advertising trackers. For anything critical, check the carrier’s own channels; see the disclaimer.

04Report an error

If a record is wrong, use the “Wrong info?” link on its page or write to info@postmapia.com with the page address. Records from OpenStreetMap can also be corrected there directly. Corrections appear here after the next data update.
